Econet Wireless, the leading telecom company in Burundi, is looking for talented professionals to fill five exciting positions within our dynamic team:

1. Finance Manager: with key responsibilities for Financial Reporting, Tax and Audit, Financial Planning and Control. A Degree in Accountancy or Finance with At least 5 years’ experience 3 of which have been in Accounting, Finance, Corporate Finance or related discipline experience at a senior management level. Experience in mobile financial services an added advantage.

2. Treasury & Credit Control Manager: with key responsibilities to Develop and maintain Treasury Strategy, Policies and Procedures, Manage and Oversee Banking Relationships, Oversees and Coordinates Credit Control, Manage Liquidity and Financial Risks. Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Related Discipline, Post graduate qualifications (CA/CIMA/CIS/ACCA/CPA), Corporate Finance professional qualification (e.g. CFA), Master’s qualification will be an added advantage with at least At least 4 years working experience in similar position.

3. Stores Officer: with key responsibilities to Ensure Proper Scheduling, Recordkeeping, and Inventory Control, to Keep Records of Items Shipped, Received or Transferred to another Location and Tagging of Stocks in the Company. At least an A1 Qualification in Business, Economics, Management or related field is required, Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Management Economics, Business or a related field is an added advantage, with At least 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar or related environment.

4. Procurement & Logistics Officer: with key responsibilities to Keep Track of Purchase Orders, Track and Maintain Shipments, Prepare Purchase Orders and handle Inquires about Orders. A Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or a related field is required with At least 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar or related environment.

5. Fraud Analyst: with key responsibilities to Review and analyze data to identify potential fraud risks, trends, and patterns, Investigate suspicious activity: Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious transactions, accounts, or behavior. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or in any related major is required with At least 2 years’ experience in fraud detection, risk management, or a related field.
