VACANCY – BRANDE EXECUTION & DIGITAL OFFICER
Key Responsibilities
MEDIA MANAGEMENT AND ACHIEVEMENT OF BRAND OBJECTIVES
- Develop simple, relevant, clear and easy-to-understand communication so that subscribers choose Airtel as their 1st choice
- Identify key competitive strengths and plan key tactical actions to improve our TOMA
- Decide on the creative direction for local communications according to clearly defined brand guidelines.
DIGITAL EXPECTATIONS
- Manage Econet’s integrated digital marketing campaigns at OpCo level covering website, social media, paid digital media, CRM (email) and mobile.
- Ensure implementation of Econet’s integrated digital marketing strategy and best practice guidelines.
- Local OpCo implementation of digital marketing campaigns, including website updates, social media engagement, paid digital media, email, etc.
- Be the digital expert at the OpCo level, but work to empower the broader OpCo team through training and best practice guidelines.
- Manage digital agency partners to ensure the expected level of service is delivered as well as coordinating with digital agency
- Report on all digital marketing activities which are published on a weekly and monthly basis, and by campaign
- Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, customer service, PR, etc. to launch digital marketing campaigns. Manage agency to execute deliverables
MEDIA BUDGET MANAGEMENT AND OPTIMIZATION
- Prioritize and focus on key activities with high business impact
- Plan and monitor media costs
- Understand business needs and ensure optimal use of available resources
- Ensure optimum SOV (Share of Voice) compared to the competition with the allocated communications budget
SERVICE QUALITY ASSESSMENT AND MEDIA MANAGEMENT
- Ensure that media work is carried out according to the brand’s graphic charter
- Execute communication campaigns in line with the brand’s core values.
- Ensure that all representations of the brand on articles, products, communication media and infrastructures comply with the graphic charter.
- Effectively and constantly review media performance on the basis of their added value in terms of value for money.
- Set up SLAs with the media and ensure that the terms are respected.
- Reinforce the specific terms of sanctions in the event of breach of contract terms
Education
- University degree (Bac +4) in Marketing, Communications, Sales Management, Business Administration;
- Good knowledge of communications techniques;
- Critical thinking with good analytical and statistical skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Good level of English.
Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position;
- Experience in a communications, advertising or journalism agency;
- Good knowledge of the media and communications agencies.
