1. Warehouse Worker : The U.S. Mission in Burundi is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the Work Control Supervisor Position in the Facilities Management Office.

The incumbent performs under the GSO Property Unit, serves as Warehouseman managing and maintaining warehouse contents stored therein: moving supplies, equipment, and furniture between offices, residences, loading and unload furnishings and equipment from trucks at warehouse and residences located both on compound and throughout the city.  The incumbent handles setup and breakdown of event equipment, assist in inventory control of accountable property, providing escort services for local contractors.  Works alone or as a team member to provide escort and perform manual tasks by using physical strength, equipment, or machinery.

Education Requirements: Completion of elementary school is required.   

Experience: One year working experience with moving, loading, and unloading furniture or other heavy equipment required.

Language: 

English: Level I - (Basic Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required

French: Level II (Limited) Speaking/Reading/Writing

Kirundi: Level II - Level II (Limited) Speaking/Reading/Writing

2. Talent Care and Wellness Coordinator : The U.S. Mission in Burundi is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the Work Control Supervisor Position in the Facilities Management Office.

Reporting to post’s Management Officer, with guidance of the Post Talent Care Committee (TCC) and with technical support from the MED/CP/OHW Wellness Team, the Talent Care Coordinator would initiate and administer a process that coordinates the several programs related to the Department’s Talent Care initiative and provide strategic planning and initiation of a comprehensive wellness program outlined in 16 FAM 625. Job holder will help establish, maintain, and work with the Post Talent Care Committee. This position’s duties include regularly evaluating post’s specific needs and identifying resources related to Talent Care, developing a wellness plan, and implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of that plan. 

Education Requirements: Completion of at least two (2) years of study at University or College.

Qualifications:

Experience: At least two (2) years of professional experience including education, administration, or program management within the fields of health promotion, workplace wellness, recreation, or other allied health professions.

3. Foreign Service National Investigator (FSNI): The U.S. Mission in Burundi is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the Work Control Supervisor Position in the Facilities Management Office.

Working in the Regional Security Offer (RSO), the Foreign Service National Investigator (FSNI) conducts security investigations and maintains liaison with local police and other security and law enforcement officials. The FSNI assists the RSO team in coordinating protection for post personnel and visiting U.S. government officials, obtaining and reporting on information concerning potential security threats to post personnel, facilities, or information. 

Education Requirements: A minimum of two (2) years University Studies is required.
