Application for Training: Trainings in Data Analytics, Visualisation and Narrative Generation for Unemployed Graduates
- The Trainings in Data Analytics, Visualisation and Narrative Generation for Unempoyed Graduates is part of the EAC Digital Skills for an Innovative East African Industry (dSkills@EA) project, implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and Inter-University Council of East Africa (IUCEA).
This application is for unemployed EAC graduates to enroll for the training that will commence in mid-July 2024. The aim of the training is to equip young unemployed unversity graduates with market-oriented skills to improve their employability. The training is conducted by Wins Global Consult GmbH in partnership with BlackIn Tech gUG.
In order to be eligible for participation, the following application requirements must be met:
- You are a graduate of a university programme (e.g., Bachelors or Masters),
- You are currently unemployed,
- You reside in one of the participating EAC partner countries (Burundi, DR Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda), and
- You are proficient in both written and spoken English.
Training courses will be conducted between mid-July and end-of-August 2024. The course consists of a ten day, full-time in-person training.

* In South Sudan, courses will take place as a ten-day, full-time hybrid training where participants will be at the training venue while trainers connect digitally. Participants are invited to bring / use their own device.
Travel, accomodation costs and per diems during the on-site sessions may be covered for participants.
