Christian Aid is now looking to recruit a Project Support Officer Economic Justice to support our development and humanitarian work in Burundi and across Africa.
About the role
The role manages the Sustainable Livelihoods through Cooperatives, Renewable Energy and Gender Empowerment in Burundi in line with the project documents in the province of Rumonge and other market chain development projects implemented in Matana, Nyanza-Lac and Rumonge within a policy framework agreed with the Project Officer, Economic Justice.
The role holders will engage institutional donors particularly Isle of Man, communications and fundraising teams and ensure a strong link exists between our programme and advocacy.
Project Support Officer Economic Justice must be able to effectively communicate Christian Aid ethos and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that serves as an example to others.
Candidate should have a good knowledge and expertise in programme management, working with institutional donors, which includes Isle of Man, (or other major institutional donors) funded programs. He/she should have proven experience of at least three (3) years in appraising, monitoring and reviewing partner projects and programmes and offering technical support. He/she should strengthen the relations between CA and donors. The role also requires fluency in French and English.
